(Spencerian Sonnet)

I've drank your blood, ten pints in all

Yet for the draught you did not die

Reeling in the drug I did not fall

Though I was at rest as those that sleep lie

With every word I write
With every song I sing
With every note I play
With every word I say
I think of you

Epiphany! Epiphany??

The word fails to convey anything close
To what has happened to me

The brown, woolen Blanket

Itself a projection of the symbiosis that exists between
The Bedroom and its Stewardess

God gave me a body
It fits so perfectly!
All liquid and supple
Like His Love for me

To Trade-dition we've sold our souls

You told me I was beautiful
