Pistachio

I love pistachio ice cream; I'm also impressed with what is considered the next platform the Hurd is being ported to: the l4Ka:: Pistachio microkernel.

Rather than hit a step-by-step description (or a reasonable facsimile thereof) of my recent exploits, I figured I'd detail the high lights of illumination I've received while trying to cram the square peg of Theory into the round hole of Practice.

Thanks, folks, for all the kind comments and generous offers of incredible wealth...it's a pity that I'm deathly allergic to money...

It's been a while...you must have thought that I'd abandon the Hurd for more productive endeavors...I'm not that intelligent.

Things went differently (yet better) once I got my Dell XPS up and running.

By the way...my NIC is a 3Com Etherlink III. After doing some research I executed the following command:

I got a lot further than I did the first shot due to having the latest copy of the base system.
