My Joomla Blog has come alive with a new entry!

When I first laid eyes on K2, I didn't really know what I was looking at. 

Well...it's been a month or two. Dot Net II is going strong, though I'm still in the process of getting all 350+ pages from the old site to the new (I'm about halfway there).

I want to take a few moments to review the 3rd-Party Extensions I've installed so far on Dot Net II, and how well they've worked out for me. It should be noted that if a component installs modules or plugins, those modules/plugins are not mentioned directly.

My Site is up and running and I've been moving content from the old version of the site for a bit now...

I'm learning a little more about templates nearly every time I add new content...

I'm still making adjustments on text styles...made some improvements on the List Item style. Due to CSS changes I've also removed the NewsFlash module from templates Shizoperized and JoomlaCurve. I've also corrected the module layout for Shizoperized by placing the Latest News and Popular modules next to each other.

Wow!!! I've done so much already...I've learned so much already it's difficult to know where to start. I'll do what I can to keep adding to this blog as I go along. I also hope in the future to have comment functionality added...in the meantime you can email me at calvin674(at)clmitchell.net.

Life has gotten rather busy since July when I last posted an entry to What's New for the Dot Net II website. As we come near the end of 2008 it seems appropriate to both review where Dot Net II has been as well as where I would like to take it.
