I am introducing a new blog on Dot Net II: Madagascar--in honor of those wonderful Penguins from whose species the Linux platform has been given its mascot.

In this first post I would like to address something dear to my heart: web development.

My Joomla Blog has come alive with a new entry!

When I first laid eyes on K2, I didn't really know what I was looking at. 

I am white. My mother's great grandfather (surname Cunningham) was Irish/Scottish.

According to The Sentencing Project, at year-end 2006, the U.S. incarcerated 751 per 100,000 residents, (one out of every 133 people) out-pacing French Guiana (630) and Russia (628).

I first published this little ditty on my birthday in 2006. Inspired by another article on the Internet, I added it to the Citadel section of Dot Net II. Now I realize that this article deserves more visibility, and have placed it in my blog Of The People.

This is the most exciting political event since Black people were given the right to vote...

With the technology provided by the K2 extension I hope to provide a more meaningful blog experience on Dot Net II.

Well...it's been a month or two. Dot Net II is going strong, though I'm still in the process of getting all 350+ pages from the old site to the new (I'm about halfway there).
