The Traveler’s Oasis began as a series of emails to a friend who had committed her life to Christ and was going through a number of crises in her life.
I was anxious to provide her comfort and encouragement, as well as help her to avoid (or at least successfully navigate) many of the pitfalls and difficulties faced by all Christians at one time or another.
Book II addresses (for the most part) the distinctiveness of Christianity both as a faith and as a religion, and attempts to refute heresies that the Church has been battling regarding the Gospel since the Ascension of Christ into Heaven.
This volume intends to address more practical issues of Christianity regarding the daily application of those truths considered indispensible to those who have committed themselves to following Christ to His Cross.
I dedicate this book to the one for whose salvation and fellowship in the Faith I pray to Almighty God with great passion every single day: Joanne Umana.
